I'm going to be switching over to lapetitemort73.   Those of you who wish to keep me on the friends' lists, please add me, and I'll do the same.  =)   I'll keep this one for a little bit longer just so that I can contact everyone who isn't online a ton.  =)

Sam decided to take off Friday and yesterday.  So, we got up Saturday packed up a tent, ice chest, and puppies and decided to go camping.  Every campsite we went to was full, so five hours later we found some sites up by Winter Park.  It was so nice.  Except, we didn't anticipate the temperature dropping so drastically at night, to the 40s!!!  Yikes!!!  So, Sunday morning, Sam took a quick trip into town to buy me a cheap hoodie, and two sleeping bags with fleece linings.  =D  Sunday night was snuggly happiness!   Hehe...
All in all it was a nice weekend.  So relaxing.  We grilled, drank some beer in front of the fire.  I got to sit back and begin a trashy romance novel.  The puppies were able to frolic.  There were no phones, faxes, tv, computers, ahhh, nice.  And the smells were so clean, Christmas like because of all the pines!!  And our campsite was right near a little running creek.  We even spied some beaver damns.  Oh, and I got to sit in my collapsable rocking chair and watch birds and butterflies!
Though, it was nice to come home yesterday and get a shower!!  We cleaned up, and I made a quick dinner so we could watch "Rock of Love" then "Big Love".  Yes, we like the cheese!!  Then we slept like the dead until the alarm went off this morning at 4:45am....

This is Revamp Vintage - really cute clothing reproductions from 1910 up, but a little pricey!
It gives me good ideas to make some of my own clothes though =)

I have been reading random stuff about "raw" for a few years now.  The past couple of days though, I have been intensely reading more.  So many people have found relief from so many ailments.  I have been truly inspired and amazed by the people at www.goneraw.com
And I had bought Alissa Cohen's "Living on Live Food" and never read it either.  So, I have been reading that as well as her website.
Tons of people are just changing so many things, besides their food when doing this. I am in awe.  There are hundreds of recipes in the book that I have.  And the websites have even more.  There are so many benefits, but can it be done forever?  Hmmmm.  I think I may be willing to give it a go.
[edited to add]
And I've been reading Shazzie's journal.  She logged almost daily for six (I think) years about her transition to raw and her setbacks and goals and benefitts.

The past two days, I have not felt like doing ANYTHING.  I've done minimal housework, but mostly I have laid around and caught up on all of my magazines that I haven't read yet.  It's just too hot out right now to even work in my garden.  The back yard needs to be cut too, but, eh, I don't feel like it.  Maybe once the sun goes down this evening I'll give it a go.
I wanted to go make some more groceries and go to the book store, but work forgot to mail me my check  for the last pay period.  So they are waiting to mail it with this pay period.  Normally, I wouldn't mind, but I've been spending a little more because of Godiva's vet checkups.  ~sigh~
I have tons of fabric that I could play with, and cross stitch kits to finish that I've started, and I could do more cleaning, or even go to the gym...I'm just not feeling like it.  All I want to do is nap ~sigh~

I found a skating rink not very far from my house.  It has public skating for two hour increments all week long!  =D  I think I may have to schedule some time to try it out a couple of days a week.  They even have an adult skating night on Sundays!!!!  YaaY!!
I have been skating outside, but those hills and holes and bumps - blah.
